This year, we’re excited to announce three different trip packages for you to choose from – whether you’re interested in graphic design, journalism, or wondering how the creative arts can help you in the future, we’ve got a package for you!
You’ll get to:
- Explore new cities (Manchester, Edinburgh and Newcastle)
- Develop your interests and find out how your hobbies can lead to a future career
- Meet new and like-minded people
- Visit university campuses and discover more about university life
Package 1: Graphic Design
We have the perfect opportunity for you to explore the possibilities of Graphic Design in the modern world, whilst developing key skills such as teamwork and critical thinking.
Trip 1: University of Cumbria, Carlisle
Date: 5th April 2022
At the University of Cumbria, you’ll have the opportunity to find out more about studying Graphic Design at university, as well as gain an insight into university life.
Trip 2: Manchester City Centre
Date: 28th May 2022
Escape Cumbria on a day trip to Manchester, where you’ll be able to explore the city with a scavenger hunt and dive deeper into its culture with a visit to the National Football Museum.
Package 2: Journalism
Do you want to write for a living? Do you want people to hear your voice on the radio, see your face on TV or read your words in the newspaper? Journalism could be the career for you! Find out more with Hello Future’s journalism experience:
Trip 1: University of Central Lancashire
Date: 1st June 2022
Visit & try out the University of Central Lancashire’s world-class journalism facilities including newsroom, television studio and radio centre

Trip 2: Newcastle City Centre
Date: 11th June 2022
A cultural visit to Newcastle with trips to museums and independent exploration of the city
Package 3: Creative Futures & Transferable Skills
Interested in studying the arts or media but worried about careers options afterwards? On this trip package, you’ll learn about the skills and careers that come out of a qualification in the arts. So put down your pencil, instrument or camera and sign up today!
Trip 1: Exploring the Lake District: A Home of British Art!
Date: 21st May 2022
Explore the beautiful landscape that has inspired artists throughout the ages and learn what studying in the heart of the lake district entails!
Trip 2: Exploring Edinburgh
Date: 30th May 2022
Adventure around the Scottish capital and learn what its like to be an arts student in the city with real student workshops!
